Emergency Response Planning

Responding to an emergency takes more than a cool head and fast reflexes although these in
themselves are critical. The nature of the emergency combined with the client processes will
determine the planning required and the materials to be prepared.

BARIC’s Consultants have extensive experience in preparing and testing Emergency
Response Plans for many diverse organizations. A BARIC Consultant will:
o Identify the types of risks facing the client site (emergency response is site specific)
o With the client quantify the risk probabilities
o Agree on the risks to be addressed
o Agree on the scope of the process to be provided. This could include:

o Develop material with client resources and outside agencies
o Develop table top exercises to test the plans
o Plan, execute and observe a live simulation of specific incidents
o Incorporate the Emergency functions into the client Business Continuity Program
o Prompt the client for ongoing scheduled reviews

The cost for this service is scalable and will depend on the scope of the client’s requirement.
