Business Continuity Programs

Continuity is not only for businesses. Continuity is a process that keeps organizations of
any nature operational in times of duress. Historically Continuity meant that the Information
Technology (IT) operations were recovered on a timely basis so that an organization could
use them again before incurring a ‘serious’ impact. Businesses/Organizations have come to
realize that having a fully functional IT operation, with no one to use it or nowhere to
operate from is not a complete solution. There are many facets to a complete continuity

o Provide a plan for the inclusion of the program in the organizational culture
o Manage the evolution of the program
